One is for Crafty Sentiments Designs, the image I used is Lola. The second project is from Sweet 7 Digital Designs here I used their Baby Deacon image.
In alphabetical order our first sponsor is
My project for Crafty Sentiments Designs is a 5x6 canvas
that I painted purple & white with acrylic paint.
I used a glue gun to attach white lace ribbon
around the center border that I painted white.
I wrote some words, cut them out and distressed each one with Tim Holtz's Distress Inks. I used popped dots add dimension.
October is breast cancer awareness month and since
I lost my mom at the young age of 56, 20+ years ago to breast cancer
I decided to incorporate the pink ribbon stickers into my project.
I placed a mini charm book was also popped and placed next to Lola.
I used my Copic Pens:
E000, E02, E04, E11, E31, YR00, YR12, V000, RV02, RV09, RV34, RV95, Y04, Y15, R85,
I also added some Recollections rhinestones,
dark burgundy (my mom's fave color) around her waist line
and on her shoes.
She was fortunate... she fought like a girl and was
able to rest after reading a good book. Lucky Lola...
Thanks Crafty Sentiments for the opportunity.

I painted a 5x6 Canvas was colored with
Teal Acrylic paint. I then tore some Die Cuts w/ a View
corrugated paper and distressed it using Tim Holtz's
Distress Inks, Peacock Feather.
I ran some metallic tin through my Vagabond
using Tim's Embossing Folder-Gears.
Inked it with Distress Stains - Peeled Paint and Salty Ocean. I then wiped off the excess and you can see how it made the dry embossed tin pop.
I placed some balloon embellishments from Recollections which can be found at Michaels. Some cream colored Prima flowers and a piece of nice ribbon that matched the color scheme.
I colored the Baby Deacon image with my Copic Pens:
E000, E00, E02, E41, E50, E51, YR00, CO, C1, C3, C4, C7, GB10, BG11, BG13, BG18, BG32, BG72.

Your first card is striking - mine looks very wishy washy in comparison. Love the colour of her hair and I think that makes the difference. The second one is a little cutie image and a super card too. Hazel x
