IDCB-KENNY K & MELJEN DESIGNS

Greetings bloggers!
Hope everyone is doing well.
Here at the
Inspiration Destination Challenge Blog
we are featuring two sponsors, first we will feature
Kenny K
The image I used is called
Atlantea

Today I'm using a 5X7 canvas which was coated with gesso.  I used Tim Holtz' Distress Paint, Spiced Marmalade.

I printed the image on paper that I ordered online that I works great with Copic pens, it's by Neenah, Classic Crest, Solar White, it's super smooth and acid free and I love it.  It's the most I ever paid for paper, it was $42 on Amazon.

I used my Distress Inks, Spice Marmalade and Black Soot.

I used Tim's distresser tool around the edges, made some tears here and there.  Then went over the edges with the black soot, distress ink.

The Copic pens I used are:
R00, R20, R29, R43, R46, Y000, Y02, Y08, C0, C1, C4, C6, W1, W3, W5, V93, B00, E0000, E000.

I applied pieces of screen, some gears, an anchor, goggles and a  metal necklace by Halcraft.  When I first saw this necklace I saw steampunk written all over it.  It's easy to manipulate and looks really nice!

And for our next sponsor

Here is the image I chose to work with, its the cutest
Fluffy Baby Penquin
I used a 2X4 canvas, pre prepped with gesso.  I used Distress Ink, Salty Ocean lightly on the canvas.
Here are the Copic Pens I used:
R00, R20, Y08, Y17, C1, N2 N8.

I cut around the image to give it a hairy fuzz and touched it up with an Copic.  He was popped with pop dots and placed on the canvas. Last but not least, the Liquid Applique (white) came out and there was fluffy snow all over, well, after the heat gun was used.   ; )

That's all folks!

  1. Wow, love what you did with the Kenny K image. I was waiting to see this post go up so I could figure out what that silver was around the edge. Great card. I've been using Neeneh paper for years. It is wonderful with Copics.
