A Perfect Time To Craft Challenge - May 2022

Back for another great challenge at

A Perfect Time To Craft!

This month we are being sponsored by

Fred She Said

I chose to go with the pretty image of "Emma with Her Frills On."  I printed the image on white Neenah paper, fussy cut the image.

The following Copic markers were used:

E000, E00, E2, E11, E13, V000, V01,V04, V09, V12, RV00, RV11, RV20, Rv34, RV69, RV95, Y00, Y02, Y18, Y38, YG11

A #8 Tag was colored with Distress Inks using a blending tool:

Ranger Black Archival Ink used to stamp the image.

Twisted Citron, Wilted Violet, Squeezed Lemonade and Mermaid Lagoon, Abandoned Coral, Black Soot and Picket Fence.

I used the Spritz & Flick technique I learned from Tim Holtz at one of his live classes years ago.

Stencils used:  Tim Holtz Harlequin and Speckles

Tim Holtz clear stamp with the word "Inspire."

A 6x6 Chicken Wire stencil by TCW.

I used a Martha Stewart small butterfly punch and punched two butterflies out using a light pink swiss dot embossed cardstock, I distressed it and I applied mod podge on both pieces.  A small piece of pink wire cut to create the butterfly's antennas using nose pliers and adhered between the two pieces and Liquid Pearlsused pale pink color to create the body.

Various colored wire was coiled to represent flowers, I also used Liquid Pearls, Peacock, Key Lime and  POPS Green Apple for the grass.

After the image and the tag were colored, I used pop dots to place the image (Emma) onto the tag, and voila!!

Here is a photo of all the products used.
