A Perfect Time To Craft Challenge

I'm decided to go with the beautiful 

Steampunk Dragonfly image.

Be sure to join in on the challenge if you enjoy creating using digital images.  At "A Perfect Time To Craft"  its always Anything Goes, meaning, any form of art is acceptable for the challenge.

I began by downloading the image onto Neenah Solar White/Super Smooth cardstock because this cardstock works well with Copic markers in my opinion.  Lately, I've been getting my markers from Blick Art Materials (aka Dick Blick) when I need something right away because its the closest to me that sells most Copic supplies.  If I can wait a few days, I purchase online from Galactic Toys because their prices are the most reasonable at $3.95 ea. compared to a $7.99 (sometimes $6.99) per marker price, so I'm happy I found them online!

I then fussy cut her out all around.

Here are the Copic markers used for coloring:

E000, E00, C2, C5, C7, Y04, Y19, R20, R22, R37, R39 & R59.

I also used the Copic Multi-Liner 00.3

I placed the image onto an 8 1/2 x 4" Tag which I colored using Distress Inks: Aged Mahogany and Tattered Rose.

Using some heat bondable Angelina Fiber I added some to the back of the image and I added Tim Holtz' Ornate Gates on both sides of the image, I also added a Tim Holtz Quote Chip (Theories) "use your wings."

I placed a couple of "Prima Flowers" as well as some of "The Paper Studio floral embellishments and a pink and green Jolees Dragonfly embellishment.
