Hello again, hope everyone is doing ok and if you live near NY, I hope you were staying cool during our heatwave. We are definitely deep into the summer, not complaining!
My project for this month of August

This is the completed project using one of Anne's border of carnations.
I used this photo image of my precious
Princess Leia so I can include her into my doggie scrapbook.
Using a 12x12 page of bees I decided to go with a black card stock to pop the layout.
Using Distress Ink, Spiced Marmalade I distressed a white piece of card stock around the edges.
First I colored in the carnation flowers and leaves using my
Copic markers and then began cutting out some carnations and leaves using an exact knife.
I then placed the photo in place and overlapped some carnations and leaves and adhered them.
Some glue accidentally got on the photo so I used some Goo Gone for the unwanted glue spots and UnDu for removing
a leaf or carnation that was already glued down and decided to replace to another location.
(Neither one of these 2 products affect the quality of the
photo)
I added a steampunk heart on top and some metal corners as well as the sentiment, "In my heart."
