I created this beautiful tag in 2012, its one of my favorite tags.
I used Tim's Tree die, Bird die and some Idea-ology,
I used a mini terra cotta pot that I cracked in half and
covered it in tin foil which I painted blue using a
Comic Pen.
I used a small nest some Beads Landing
charms, mini eggs colored in blue Micro gears and silver wire colored blue
to match the color scheme.
I used Tim's honeycomb embossing folder.
Used silver wire to wrap around the tree as well as
pieces of moss.
I used embossing inks and a letter stamp as background.
as I do.
what an awesome tag you made IVY. I love your blog and often stop by to "check it out". I would really love a step by step tut on how you made this tag and where you aquired all your embellishments. I know it's alot to ask but I bet there are alot of other list members that would love a tut as well.

ReplyDeleteI am new to the Tim Holtz style. I signed up for his online classes recently, learning the techniques. You have clearly taken it to the next level! I love it! By the way, I am a fellow Fibromyalgia survivor. I find that art can help keep the pain away,if not just for a few hours.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your art with us.
