Welcome back to my blog!
This month we are being sponsored by the beautiful digital images of
I chose the image titled, "Susie Snowflake." While many are still in the summertime or Christmas in July, I thought I'd jump ahead into a wintery theme.
I began by downloading the image and printing it on Neenah card stock, then used my Copic markers to color in the image.
Using my Honey Bee precision scissors (my fave) I fussy cut the image after I colored it.
The following markers were used:
Hair: C00,C0, C04, C06, C09, 100
Skin: E0000, E000, E00, E11
Lips: R11, R32
Clothing: YG0000, YG000, YG00, YG11, YG02
RV0000, RV000, RV00, RV61, RV91
Multiliner .003, white gel, white color pencil
The image was small enough so I decided to go with a #8 tag by Tim Holtz #8 Tag this time around and used the Distress Oxides: Black Soot, Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo and Squeezed Lemonade.
I used a Dylusion's 5x8 stencil, "Let It Snow" using Distress Oxides ink pads by Tim Holtz to make some of the snowflakes.
I used the Golden Crackle Paste with the same stencil. I then hit it with the heat gun and made sure it was completely dry.
